Join us for a nonstop flow of breath and movement that is designed for students at ALL LEVELS of experience--lots of options are offered in each class.
Simply consider your current level of fitness and what you are looking for in a class; if you are looking for a slower pace and wish to focus on releasing tension, try the Friday or Saturday class. If you are looking for a vigorous, faster-paced class with upbeat, eclectic music, try the Sunday class. If you are looking for something in between, try the Tuesday or Thursday class!
These classes are at Evolution Yoga in Woodmere, Ohio.
Vinyasa Yoga Sundays 10.15am-11.45am (MODERATE/VIGOROUS)
Vinyasa Yoga Tuesdays 6.45pm-8.00pm (MODERATE)
Vinyasa Yoga Thursdays 6.45pm-8.00pm (MODERATE)
Deep Stretch Vinyasa Yoga Fridays 6.00pm-7.00pm (SLOW/MODERATE)
Deep Stretch Vinyasa Yoga Saturdays 10.15am-11.30am (SLOW/MODERATE)
In these classes, we practice sun salutations, standing postures, and core work. I provide options for new students AND experienced yogis. We wind down with seated and reclining postures, still emphasizing continuous breathing and flowing movements until shavasana (final relaxation).
Vinyasa and Jivamukti classes emphasize strength, flexibility, and endurance equally. We mix inversions and arm balances into the flow--always with preparatory postures that lead you into challenging ones step by step, so you can pause at any stage and enjoy working there.
Deep Stretch classes emphasize flexibility more, and move at a slower pace. We do not include inversions or arm balances, since our focus is on balancing flexibility and strength in the hips and shoulders and spine--and chilling out at the end of a long week! These are accessible and appropriate for even brand-new beginners.
