    Community Teacher
    Oxford and Cincinnati, Ohio, 2002-present
    Taught free classes at the Oxford Family Resource Center, at the Oxford
    Community Arts Center, for the Women in the Outdoors yearly event, and for
    the Cincinnati TrueBody project, which combines writing, art, and body/mind
    activities for teenage girls. Designed and taught a workshop for teachers and
    apprentices for the Cincinnati Yoga Teachers Association.

    Communication Department, Miami University, 2001-2002
    Supervisor: Dr. Ann Frymier
    Elected by the graduate students of the department to represent the Mass
    Communication Area and host recruitment lunches for visiting prospective
    graduate students. Revised Communication Department Handbook for
    Graduate Students, outlining requirements, opportunities, and timeline for
    course of study.

    Wrote and edited requests for funding and promotional materials for a non-
    profit organization that provides four residential programs for women:
    alternative mental health treatment, emergency shelter, transitional housing,
